Good for London Pass

I bought the London Pass for my trip. It arrived on time, digitally, which was convenient. Used it for the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Worked without issues. Saved me some time.

Reliable for UK travel needs

I've used VisitBritain a few times now for different trips to the UK. This latest one, I purchased Heathrow Express tickets and a multi-attraction bundle that included the Roman Baths and Edinburgh Castle. The process was smooth, just like my previous orders. Received all my e-tickets quickly. My first purchase was a Visitor Oyster Card years ago, and that worked well too. Their selection of tickets and passes is consistent, and I appreciate not having to shop around too much for official tickets. It's just a dependable place to get things sorted for UK travel.

Great value on BritRail Pass

This was my first time buying from VisitBritain. I was looking for a good deal on a BritRail Pass for my trip around England. I found one here that included a decent discount for booking in advance, saved me about 15% compared to other sites I checked. The pass itself was easy to activate once I got there. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth, especially with the train fares being what they are. I'd use them again for passes.

Thinking of getting the English Heritage Overseas Visitor Pass. Does that count for things like Warwick Castle or just smaller sites?

F Faith 2 months ago
It covers a ton of places, including big ones like Warwick Castle. Check the English Heritage website for the full list, it's pretty extensive.

Yeah, that pass is great value. I used it for a few castles and old ruins, definitely includes places like Warwick Castle. Just make sure to check opening times for individual sites.

Is VisitBritain legit for booking stuff like Harry Potter studio tour tickets? I see tickets on other sites too and wanna make sure I'm not getting scammed.

J June 1 month ago
Yep, totally legit. They're the official shop for British tourism. I've bought attraction tickets through them before, everything was smooth.

They are the official source. So, you're good there. Prices should be the same as direct from the attraction, or sometimes bundled into a pass for a bit less.

Hey, thinking of getting a BritRail Pass for a trip in the fall. I live in the US. Can I still buy it or is it only for UK residents?

S Steve Osei 1 month ago
Nah, you're good. BritRail Passes are specifically for non-UK residents. I bought one last year from the states, no problem.

Yeah, I think that's the whole point of those passes, for tourists from outside the UK. You just can't be living there permanently.

Anyone know if VisitBritain does those Black Friday sales? I'm planning a big trip around then and hoping to snag some deals on attractions.

B Brett Marsh 2 months ago
They totally do! I saw them last year. Keep an eye out around November, they usually have stuff for passes and some tours.

They sometimes have special offers around that time, yeah. But it's not always on everything, sometimes specific tours or passes get a discount.

Can I cancel my bookings if my plans change? Like for a Stonehenge tour or something?

G Greg 3 months ago
It depends on the specific booking. Some are flexible, others aren't. You gotta check the terms for each ticket or tour you buy, they're usually pretty clear during checkout.

Yeah, some things are refundable but not all. I'd read the cancellation policy before you buy, it's different for each product. Sometimes there's a fee too.
